The wait is finally over. The results for the 2025 Anime of the Year rankings are here! Anime Corner conducted several polls, collecting responses from over 59,000 fans to reflect the wide range of preferences within the community. These rankings provide an interesting snapshot of the anime landscape in 2025, shaped by the opinions of viewers from around the world.
That said, these results shouldn’t define what you choose to watch. Every anime has its own unique charm and storytelling style, and personal tastes differ from fan to fan. With such a diverse lineup of shows in 2025, there’s something for everyone, so even if your favorite didn’t make the list, it’s still worth celebrating.
2025 Anime of the Year
The 2025 Anime of the Year (AOTY) poll pulled in 59,053 voters, and the results are pretty close. Takopi’s Original Sin claimed first place, narrowly beating The Summer Hikaru Died by just 0.1%.
