Delicious ni Dungeon Season 2 announced an October 2027 release date and first key visual during Anime Expo 2026, set to stream on Netflix. The sequel was announced immediately after the first season ended in 2024, with today’s update coming during Anime Expo 2026. Studio TRIGGER is animating, with a new artwork revealed at the panel.

Ryoko Kui writes and draws the original Delicious in Dungeon manga, which has been serialized in Enterbrain’s Harta magazine since February 2014. Yen Press licensed the manga in English, and they describe the story:
When young adventurer Laios and his company are attacked and soundly thrashed by a dragon deep in a dungeon, the party loses all its money and provisions…and a member! They’re eager to go back and save her, but there is just one problem: If they set out with no food or coin to speak of, they’re sure to starve on the way! But Laios comes up with a brilliant idea: “Let’s eat the monsters!” Slimes, basilisks, and even dragons…none are safe from the appetites of these dungeon-crawling gourmands!
Delicious in Dungeon follows Laios and his party as they venture through a dangerous dungeon, surviving by cooking and eating the monsters they encounter. The manga concluded with 14 volumes and inspired the popular 25-episode anime adaptation by Studio TRIGGER, which aired in 2024. We recently got the chance to interview Mao Momiji, the food illustrator in charge of the anime’s food designs.
