Following the Anime Expo presentation, the official web radio program Dungeon Meshi: Labyrinth Exploration Radio will return for a special summer broadcast on July 5 at 9:00 p.m. JST via the KADOKAWAanime YouTube channel.

Voice actors Kentaro Kumagai (Laios) and Sayaka Senbongi (Marcille) will once again host the program, where they will discuss the latest developments for Season 2 and interact with fan submissions.

The special broadcast will feature several returning audience segments, including:

  • General fan messages
  • “Marcille’s No Way!”, where Marcille judges unusual food-related scenarios as acceptable or unacceptable
  • “How I’d Defeat This Monster,” inviting fans to share their own strategies for defeating monsters from the anime
  • “If You Could Bring Only One Item Into the Dungeon…”, asking viewers which single item they would take on a dungeon expedition and why

Based on Ryoko Kui’s manga serialized in Harta magazine from 2014 to 2023, Delicious in Dungeon follows Laios and his party as they venture through a dangerous dungeon, surviving by cooking and eating the monsters they encounter. The manga concluded with 14 volumes and inspired the popular 25-episode anime adaptation by Studio TRIGGER, which aired in 2024. We previously got to interview Mao Momiji, the food illustrator who was in charge of the anime’s food designs.
