Disney revealed the first look at Dragon Striker Season 2 during the series’ panel at Anime Expo 2026, confirming that the series will premiere in early 2027 on Disney XD and Disney+.

The upcoming season will consist of 11 episodes and continue the fantasy sports adventure following the Knights as they pursue the Banner’s Helm championship.

According to the official synopsis: “The Knights face broken friendships, buried secrets and ancient evil as they fight to reach the Banner’s Helm final and risk everything for victory.” You can see the new image below.

Dragon Striker Season 2 Teaser Image

The main voice cast is returning and includes:

  • Akshay Kumar as Key
  • Rebecca LaChance as Ssyelle
  • Yeukayi Ushe as Milo
  • Waylon Jacobs as Odward
  • Evanna Lynch as Ameline

The score is once again composed by Kevin Penkin, known for his work on Made in Abyss and Star Wars: Visions. The soundtrack was recorded in Japan with an 80-piece orchestra. The opening theme song, “Power of the Dragon,” was written and produced by Cash Callaway and performed by Sarah West, while Kieran Rhodes performs the ending theme, “The Very End.”

Produced by La Chouette Compagnie in association with Disney Television Animation, Dragon Striker is created by Sylvain Dos Santos and Charles Lefebvre, with Lefebvre also directing the series and Paul McKeown serving as head writer.

Season 1 premiered in June 2026, with all episodes currently streaming on Disney+ and Hulu ahead of Season 2’s arrival in early 2027.
