Fate Rewinder anime film by studio Bones Film revealed a new teaser trailer and key visual, along with an April 2027 release date. Rie Matsumoto, whose previous direction credits include Kyosogiga (2013) and Blood Blockade Battlefront (Kekkai Sensen, 2015), directs the new anime.
As for Bones Film, it’s currently working on the upcoming Gachiakuta Season 2 anime, as well, and they are the studio behind My Hero Academia.
The new anime is described as a “time-leap x action manga that has received high praise from top creators across various fields.” You can watch the new trailer below.

Fate Rewinder (Unmei no Makimodoshi) is a manga written and illustrated by Futa Kimura. It originally debuted as a one‑shot in January 2022 and began regular serialization the following month. As of April 2026, the series had been collected into twelve volumes. It is published in Monthly CoroCoro Comic, the shonen magazine from Shogakukan.
