SM North EDSA‘s Animezing North has officially returned this year with the Animezing North: Solo Leveling pop-up event, showcasing a supersized recreation of the anime’s iconic Statue of God, dungeons, and Sung Jinwoo’s shadows. Fans in the Philippines can step into the world of Solo Leveling through its immersive attractions, high-quality standees, banners, exclusive merchandise, and interactive activities.

In collaboration with Medialink and Ani-One PH, the webtoon-turned-anime series has come to life here at Animezing North, and it’s the perfect place for Filipino fans to experience the supernatural world of hunters and dungeons for themselves. The activation is located at The Block Atrium, SM North EDSA, Quezon City, and will run until July 14, 2026.

Walking into the Animezing North: Solo Leveling pop-up event felt like a full-on fan experience that brings the action, style, and energy of the series into the real world. From the haunting Statue of God, the winter dungeon in Episode 13, and the terrifying Ant King from the Jeju Island raid in Episode 24– it was a fun experience to interact with the series in a new and exciting way. As a fan of the webtoon and anime, it was impossible not to smile with the incredible atmosphere. Incidentally, the Solo Leveling: Beyond the System anime film was also announced, so it was cool to see the series with old nostalgia and excitement anew!

The event launch was graced with the presence of distinguished guests, including cosplayers Zackt, Awie, Roxanne, and Prince de Guzman, who came as S-rank hunters as Sung Jinwoo, Cha Hae-in, Choi Jong-in, and Baek Yoonhoo, respectively. Everywhere was basically a photo spot, from the standees and backdrops that practically ask you to stop and strike a pose (super-duper Instagram-worthy!). My favorite is the one where you can stand tall and center at the activation– the true aura farming experience. Others went above and beyond to recreate memorable moments, like referencing Jinwoo’s lying pose from the anime’s key visual, which I thought was a hilarious if-you-know-you-know moment.

Of course, no pop-up event would be complete without exclusive merchandise. We spotted Solo Leveling acrylic keychains, plushies, shirts, bags, and many more. There were also discounted physical copies of the full-color comic and the original light novels that fans would surely love to grab. Some other interactive zones at the event were the Hunter ID photo booth and the strength testing area.

For me, the pop-up event is a celebration of a series, allowing Filipinos to connect with others who share the same passion while experiencing the world of Solo Leveling in a whole new way. It’s impossible not to get caught up in the excitement when everyone around shares the same love for the series. So whether you’re looking to go shopping, take photos, meet fellow fans, or simply soak in the atmosphere, the Animezing North: Solo Leveling pop-up event is a must-go! It’s an experience worthy of an S-Rank rating.

And so, I wholeheartedly recommend checking out the Animezing North: Solo Leveling pop-up event! It’s free and perfect to share with anime-loving friends and family. You can also check out some of the interactive displays and amazing cosplayers that I took photos of:
