Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers officially announced a Season 2 anime, revealing a teaser visual and trailer. The first season aired for 12 episodes from April to June 2024.

Based on the light novel series by Miya Kinojo, Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers follows Flio, a former hero candidate who is unexpectedly banished to another world after being deemed powerless. Upon reaching Level 2, however, he unlocks overwhelming abilities and chooses a peaceful life alongside the demon girl Ferris, gradually building an unconventional family while becoming involved in conflicts between various races.

Original author Miya Kinojo commented on the seque announcement:
“Season 2 of Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers has officially been decided. This is all thanks to everyone involved with the series and to all of the fans who have continued supporting it. Thank you very much.
I’m already looking forward to seeing Flio, Rys, and the rest of the Flio family return on screen together with all of you. Alongside the familiar cast, Season 2 will introduce new characters, and I believe it will become an even more enjoyable story than the first season.
Even so, Flio and Rys will remain at the heart of everything, stirring things up in the best possible way. And I’m especially looking forward to seeing even more of our blond Hero, who was probably the hardest-working character in Season 1… though perhaps not in the happiest way.”
To commemorate the announcement, celebratory illustrations were also released by light novel illustrator Katagiri and manga artist Akine Itomachi.
The first season was produced by J.C. STAFF and featured the following main cast:
