Yusuke Kobayashi undoubtedly earned the title of Best Male Seiyuu of the Season. His extraordinary performances as Subaru in Re:Zero Season 4, Senku in the final season of Dr. Stone, and Cecil in An Observation Log of My Fiancée Who Calls Herself a Villainess showcased his incredible range and consistency. From Subaru’s emotionally charged moments to Senku’s unwavering charisma, Kobayashi delivered one standout performance after another. And earning Seiyuu of the Week twice for the same role only further cemented his dominance, making him the clear choice for the season’s top spot.
Claiming second place is another popular name in the industry, Natsuki Hanae, who once again showed his exceptional voice acting skills. Whether portraying the wise and enigmatic Qifrey in Witch Hat Atelier, the dependable Yuki in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4, or the determined Haruichi in Ace of Diamond Act II Season 2, Hanae showed consistently that he has what it takes to be on top.
Rounding out the top three is Takuya Eguchi, who proved that a leading role isn’t necessary to take the top spots. Despite primarily voicing supporting characters this season, his performances stood out among an already stacked lineup. He reminded fans why he remains one of the industry’s most reliable and respected voice actors.
The Next Generation Has Arrived
While the top spots this season were once again claimed by industry veterans, there’s no denying that the next generation of talent has truly arrived. Rising stars continue to impress with breakout performances, standing shoulder to shoulder with some of the biggest names in the industry. As each season passes, the gap between established seiyuus and rookies continues to shrink.
As always, we would like to thank everyone for voting and supporting our seasonal polls. We look forward to seeing you this summer!
