BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) Part 4 The Calamity revealed the opening and ending movie videos following the anime’s premiere today. The anime begins today, July 25, following its first three episodes’ early release in US theaters. Hulu recently confirmed that it will run for 10 episodes.
The first episode is “GOD OF THUNDER,” with its preview and staff previously revealed. The artist jo0ji, who performed “Yoake no Uta” in JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 3, is in charge of the opening theme for the final cour titled “I-BULL.” You can watch the opening movie below.
The ending theme song is “Rasen” by 9Lana.
Created by Tite Kubo, BLEACH was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016 and concluded with 74 volumes. The manga has exceeded 130 million copies in circulation worldwide, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time.
The original anime adaptation aired from 2004 to 2012 and received four theatrical films. The franchise returned in 2022 with BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, adapting the manga’s final arc. Its final part (Part 4) is set to release in July. Tite Kubo has confirmed it will include even more original material than the previous parts, expanding the manga’s final battles.Kubo also commented that he personally listened to and selected all the BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War theme songs from the demo stage onward. “Throughout the series, I wanted to have as many newer artists as possible perform the themes. Part of my thinking was that I wanted viewers to discover these artists through Thousand-Year Blood War and then become fans of them afterward.”
On a related note, BLEACH: Mirrors High recently revealed its protagonists in a new trailer, with the game featuring original character designs by Tite Kubo.
