My Hero Academia revealed the preview for the upcoming new short anime covering a special Eri chapter from My Hero Academia: Ultra Age. The chapter shows on Eri in high school, and its anime adaptation will premiere on August 2. It will stream on Crunchyroll.

Now a high school student, Eri continues to pursue her dream of making music. With her first street performance coming up that weekend, she visits U.A. High School. Aizawa, Present Mic, and the others welcome her, but Izuku, now a teacher, is nowhere to be seen. Just then, something appears on the television… And at last, the day of her street performance arrives!

Kohei Horikoshi drew the My Hero Academia manga for Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from July 2014 until August 2024. The series ended last year after a 10-year run, getting numerous illustrations and messages for the conclusion.
The anime adaptation first premiered in April 2016 and has since become one of the most popular modern shonen franchises worldwide. It concluded with Episode 170 on December 13, 2025.
Horikoshi is also returning to the magazine with a new 61-page horror one-shot titled Don’t Laugh, Shijima-san, marking his first one-shot since the conclusion of My Hero Academia. The manga will be published in the combined Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 37/38 on August 10.
