LEGO ONE PIECE 2-part animation special project has been announced, set to begin streaming on September 29 on Neflix. The project will highlight Usopp narrating the crew’s tales, and it’s described:
“Witness the legendary tales of the East Blue and Grand Line like never before! Watch as Usopp, the ultimate “builder” of tall tales, retells the Straw Hats’ adventures to their newest member, Chopper. Expect big action and even bigger lies in this special LEGO® world!”
ONE PIECE live-action already collaborated with LEGO before, as they released numerous sets based on Season 1 in August last year. You can watch the trailer for the animated project below, narrated by Usopp’s live-action actor Jacob Gibson.
You can also watch the Japanese version, narrated by Usopp’s Japanese voice actor Kappei Yamaguchi.
The ONE PIECE manga by Eiichiro Oda first began in July 1997, and the series exceeded 500 million circulating copies worldwide in August 2022. It also celebrated the 25th anniversary in 2022, while the anime adaptation started in October 1999 and is also still going strong. As Elbaph Arc got closer, hype was built with new cast additions. It culminated in Yuichi Nakamura getting cast as Loki, probably the most exciting character to make his debut in years and guaranteed to play a huge role in the endgame. he anime returned on April 5.
