MARRIAGETOXIN anime revealed a recap trailer alongside the Episode 9 preview images and synopsis, ahead of the episode’s June 2 release. Studio BONES Film is handling the animation production, which premiered on April 3. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime. Following the previous encounters with a Water Master and Sound Master, Gero is now up against a Beast Master.

To save Arashiyama’s life, Gero and friends storm the Beast Clan’s home turf, Dogo Animal Kingdom. All kinds of threats stand in their way, from giant squid attacks to the Bird Master, Kota Hanezawa. Piichi and Gero have teamed up to take the Beast Master down, but the ferocious onslaught splits them into two groups: Gero with Arashiyama, and Kinosaki with Piichi. Then, Toshiro Dogo, fourteenth son of the Beast Clan, with the Beast Blood of the bat, uses Hanezawa to deliver a message to Gero. He claims to want to usher in a new era, but what exactly is he planning?
The voice cast for the anime includes:

The anime is directed by Motonobu Hori, who is known for Carole & Tuesday and Metallic Rogue. Serving as Chief Animation Director and Character Designer will be Kohei Tokuoka, who served as Chief Animation Director for SK8 the Infinity and as Character Designer and Chief Animation Director for The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity. Studio BONES Film is known for animating two ongoing hit titles, My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON and Gachiakuta.
Official synopsis:
For centuries, the deadly arts have been perfected by those known as the Masters. Among them, the
Poison Masters of the Five Great Families hold the most fearsome power and influence. Hikaru Gero, heir
to the Poison Masters’ Gero Family, has lived his entire life in the underworld, far removed from love or
marriage.
But when the Gero Family head decrees that Hikaru’s sister must bear an heir to preserve the bloodline –
by force if necessary – Hikaru resolves to protect her at all costs. It is then that Hikaru encounters Mei
