Ahead of the Rascal Does Not Dream anime conclusion with the upcoming Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend movie, the series will release a memorial visual featuring the heroines of the series. First up is a memorial visual of Rio Futaba.
Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend anime movie is set to premiere on October 16 in Japan. The movie marks the anime’s conclusion. The voice cast includes:

- Kaito Ishikawa as Sakuta Azusagawa
- Reina Ueda as Mini-Skirt Santa
- Yurika Kubo as Kaede Azusagawa
- Nao Toyama as Tomoe Koga

- Inori Minase as Shoko Makinohara
- Sora Amamiya as Uzuki Hirokawa
- Aya Yamane as Ikumi Akagi

The Rascal Does Not Dream light novel series was written by Hajime Kamoshida, while Keji Mizoguchi drew the illustrations for it. ASCII Media Works began publishing it under their Dengeki Bunko imprint in April 2014, releasing a total of 15 volumes. The final volume was released on October 10, 2024, marking the end of the novel after 10 years of serialization.
