The TV anime adaptation of A Galaxy Next Door revealed a new key visual, trailer, and additional cast and April 8 premiere date on Friday. Voice actors Tomokazu Sugita, Hikasa Yoko, and Rie Takahashi are joining the series as Masahiro Gokoku, Momoka Gokoku, and Ibusuki Chihiro respectively. The opening theme song is titled “Tonari Awase” by Chinatsu Matsumoto and it can be heard in the new trailer, along with the cast:
The latest key visual features the previously introduced characters: Shiori Goshiki, Ichiro Kuga, Fumio Kuga, and Machi Kuga. The anime revealed its first trailer and visual last November.
Studio Asahi Production is producing the series with Ryuichi Kimura as director. Gigaemon Ichikawa is writing the scripts while Tomoka Otaki is illustrating character designs. The main cast of A Galaxy Next Door anime includes:
The anime is based on the seinen manga series by Gido Amagakure which has been serialized by Kodansha’s seinen manga magazine Good! Afternoon since April 2020. Kodansha USA is publishing the manga in English and they described the series as:
