A Sign of Affection Anime Gets First Trailer

A Sign of Affection anime adaptation revealed a trailer, along with additional cast information. The new cast members are Takeo Otsuka, Ryota Osaka, and Kaede Hondo who will voice Oushi, Kyoya, and Rin. The previously announced main cast includes Sumire Morohoshi as Yuki Itose and Yu Miyazaki as Itsuomi Nagi. The anime will premiere in January 2024.

A Sign of Affection – Trailer

Ajia-do is animating the adaptation, under the direction of Yuta Murano, with Sakumi Kasai on character designs. Yoko Yonaiyama is in charge of the series composition and screenplay. Yukari Hashimoto is composing the music. A Sign of Affection anime was announced in July of this year.

A Sign of Affection (Yubisaki to Renren) anime is based on the manga written and illustrated by Suu Morishita. The manga started t started serialization in Kodansha’s Dessert magazine in 2019. Kodansha USA is publishing the series in English and describes the plot as:
Yuki is a typical college student, whose world revolves around her friends, social media, and the latest sales. But when a chance encounter on a train leads to her meeting friend-of-a-friend and fellow student Itsuomi-san, her world starts to widen. But even though Itsuomi-kun can speak three languages, sign language isn’t one of them. Can the two learn to communicate the budding feelings between them?
