The upcoming Aharen-san wa Hakarenai anime revealed the opening and ending theme songs, along with a new key visual. Additional cast members were also revealed. The anime premieres this April.
The opening theme of the series, “Hanarenai Kyori” will be performed by the voice actor singing unit TrySail. The unit is known for its hit song “Adrenaline!!!” (Eromanga Sensei ED). Meanwhile, the music group HaKoniwalily (SD Gundam World Heroes ED 2) is singing the ending theme “Kyorikan”.

The previously announced cast members were Inori Minase (Rem) and Takuma Tershashima (Shiroe) who are voicing the main characters Reina Aharen and Raidou Matsuboshi, while Kana Hanazawa (Ichika Nakano) as Tobaru and M・A・O (Pecorine) as Mitsuki Oshiro.
The anime adaptation of Aharen-san wa Hakarenai is based on a manga written by Asato Mizu. Felix Film (Otherside Picnic) will be producing the series. Yasutaka Yamamoto (Nekopara) and Tomoe Makino (Woodpecker Detective`s Office) are listed as chief director and director, respectively. Yuuko Yahiro (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) will be handling the character design and Takao Yoshioka (Your Lie in April) for the series composition. Monaca (Oregairu) and Satoru Kousaki (Vivy: Flourite’s Eye Song) are in charge of the music.
Reina Aharen is a quiet, short girl who is not very good at measuring the distance between people. She’s also a bit awkward around people, even around Raidou Matsuhobshi who sites next to her in class. But, after she drops an eraser and he picks it up, the distance between them is suddenly gone, and a romantic coming-of-age comedy begins!
