Ami Tsuruga from The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses Gets A Trailer and Visual

The upcoming The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses TV anime revealed a character trailer and visual for Ami Tsuruga (voiced by Sayumi Suzushiro) on Friday. Ami is the youngest member of the café and is in the karate club in her school. The website further describes her as a naive yet energetic girl who is often scolded by everyone for getting carried away. The series premieres this April.

The anime previously revealed a trailer and visual for Shiragiku Ono and Riho Tsukishima. Studio Tezuka Productions will be animating the adaptation of the manga written by Koji Seo. Satoshi Kuwabara is directing the series with Keiichiro Ochi on the scripts and Masatsune Noguchi on the character designs. Shu Kanematsu and Miki Sakurai are composing the music. The cast includes Masaaki Mizunaka as Hayato Kusakabe, Azumi Waki as Shiragiku Ono, Aya Yamane as Riho Tsukishima, Sayumi Suzushiro as Ami Tsuruga, Asami Seto as Akane Hououji, and Ruriko Aoki as Ouka Makuzawa.

Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine is serializing the manga and it currently has 8 volumes in circulation with the 9th volume releasing on February 17. Kodansha US is publishing it in English and they described it as:
When Hayato’s grandmother passed, he planned to sell her rundown café on the shore—not realizing that it was also home to five young women who call themselves her family?! Their desperation to keep the café open convinces Hayato to give it a shot…but even their best intentions might not be enough to make it work! And can he even work with these five unruly women? No matter what, he’s got his work cut out for him! A fun new romcom by the author of Fuuka and Suzuka!
