Arifureta Season 2 OVA Gets New Trailer Ahead of September 25 Premiere

The upcoming Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest Season 2 OVA has received a new trailer. The episode will be released on Blu-ray, bundled with the original light novel’s 13th volume on September 25, 2022. You can watch the video below:

The video features the opening song of Arifureta Season 2 titled, “Daylight“, by MindaRyn. The OVA was announced right after the broadcast of the second season’s finale. The OVA episode will be 40 minutes long, and an advanced screening will be held in Japan on September 10, 2022.

Studios Mother and Asread animated the second season of Arifureta with Akira Iwanaga as the director. The same director and studio are also working on the upcoming OVA. The first season of the anime aired in the Summer of 2019 anime season. Two OVAs also followed in December of the same year and February 2020. Kinji Yoshimoto directed it at studios Asread and White Fox.

Overlap has been serializing Ryo Shirakomee’s Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest light novel series with Takayaki’s illustrations since 2015, and it currently has 12 volumes available. The 13th volume will be released on September 25, 2022, along with the OVA of season 2. A manga adaptation by RoGa is being published by the same publisher on Comic Gardo since 2016, and as of now, it has 10 volumes in circulation. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the Arifureta light novel series.
