Today’s Attack on Titan Episode 73 broadcast on NHK is interrupted by an earthquake. Funimation and Crunchyroll also confirmed simulcast postponement.
The official website and Twitter has already released a statement: “We will inform you about future broadcasts and distributions as soon as they are decided.”
Viewers on Crunchyroll are also told that the episode will be delayed until further notice. The show’s page on Crunchyroll states the following:
Due to news coverage of the earthquake in Wakayama, the broadcast and simulcast of episode 73 has been postponed. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
Meanwhile, Funimation will still proceed with the English Dub release of Episode 73:
The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) reported that a magnitude 4.6 earthquake occurred in the northern part of Wakayama prefecture around 12:30am local time.
The preview for “Savagery,” Attack on Titan Episode 73, tells viewers that the Jaegerists capture Hange and others. The preview also teased that Eren wants to have a talk with Armin and Mikasa.
