Ayakashi Triangle will be restarting broadcasting on July 10. After initially being postponed in January due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ayakashi Triangle then suffered further setbacks in broadcasting after the 5th and 6th episodes in March. Now, the anime will begin airing again in Japan, starting with the first episode and continuing uninterrupted. The seventh episode would be due to air on August 21.
The Ayakashi Triangle has announced the restarting of the broadcast along with a new trailer, which you can watch below:
Ayakashi Triangle is based on a manga written by Kentaro Yabuki, the creator of Black Cat, To-Love-Ru, and the artist behind Darling in the FranXX. The series was licensed by both VIZ Media and Seven Seas Entertainment in English, with Viz Media publishing censored versions of the manga via their digital services; Seven Seas offers the original, uncensored artwork with the physical volumes.
Seven Seas describes the plot of the Ayakashi Triangle as:
Matsuri Kazamaki’s job as an exorcist ninja means that his livelihood depends on driving away the ayakashi spirits who endanger humans. He’s been protecting his childhood friend, Suzu Kanade, from the shadows for years, as she effortlessly attracts ayakashi. What will happen when Suzu encounters a creature who looks like a simple cat, but who is really Shirogane, the king of ayakashi?
