Baki Season 3 Gets New Trailer, Premieres All 12 Episodes on September 30

Netflix’s official YouTube channel has uploaded a 2nd trailer (English-subbed) for the upcoming season 3 of Baki, titled Baki Hanma. The sequel is set to premiere exclusively on the platform, and they will release all 12 episodes globally on September 30. You can watch the new trailer below:

The video also features the anime’s ending theme song “Unchained World” by GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE. In addition, we get to hear some more cast, and it includes:

  • Yasuhiro Mamiya – Iron Michael
  • Kouichi Yamadera – Lips, Teeth, Tongue
  • Kenji Nojima – Jun Guevara
  • Masashi Ebara – Bob McCarthy

As previously announced, the opening song is “Treasure Pleasure” by GRANDRODEO. Nobunaga Shimazaki will reprise his role as the voice of Baki.

Netflix describes the story for the new season of Baki:

To gain the skills he needs to surpass his powerful father, Baki enters Arizona State Prison to take on the notorious inmate known as Mr. Unchained.

The original manga is written and drawn by Keisuke Itagaki. It ran from 1991 to 1999 in Weekly Shōnen Champion and was collected into 42 volumes. There were 3 sequel manga series, Baki, Baki Hanma and Baki-Dou, all of which ran in the same magazine. Lastly, the 5th series, also titled Baki-Dou (but romanized differently), started in October 2018.
