Beast Tamer Anime Gets New Visual and Trailer, Confirms October Premiere

The previously announced Beast Tamer anime adaptation revealed a new trailer and visual ahead of the October 2022 premiere. Studio EMT Squared is animating the series, under Atsushi Nigorikawa’s direction. New information was revealed at Crunchyroll Expo and the anime’s official Twitter. Theme songs were also revealed:

  • Opening: “Change The World” by MADKID
  • Ending: “LOVE&MOON” by Marika Kohno

The main cast of the series includes Shoya Chiba as rein, Rumi Okubo as Tanya, and Azumi Waki as Kanade. Minami Tanaka and Maria Sashide are also joining as Sora and Luna, respectively. The staff includes:

The light novel series that the anime is based on is titled Yusha Party wo Tsuihou Sareta Beast Tamer, Saikyo Shuzoku Nekomimi Shojo to Deau and it was written by Suzu Miyana and illustrated by Hotosoka. The manga adaptation by moto Shigemura is currently ongoing as well.

The plot follows Rein, who was banished from the hero’s party because his only skill is being able to communicate with animals to get them to listen to his orders. In order to continue his life, he became an adventurer, and along the way, he met a demihuman with cat ears, who is a part of the strongest species in the world. After that fateful meeting, his life begins to change for the better.
