Bocchi the Rock Cast Slays on the Cover of Seiyuu Grandprix May 2023 Issue

Seiyuu Grandprix magazine has revealed the covers for its May 2023 issue and the members of the Kessoku band from Bocchi the Rock anime are slaying on the magazine’s front cover. Photos Yoshino Aoyama, Sayumi Suzushiro, Saku Mizuno, and Ikumi Hasegawa were taken in Shimokitazawa where the anime is set. The latest issue will have an interview with the cast wherein they will talk about their relationship with each other and look back on the anime.

Love Live‘s virtual idol Hasunosora Jyogakuin School Idol Club is gracing the back cover. The idol projects members, Nozomi Nirei, Kokona Nonaka, Nina Hanamiya, Kotoko Sasaki, Kanna Kan, and Kona Tsukine will share their experiences of participating in the franchise and their relationship with other members. The highlights of their upcoming first mini album Dream Believers will also be part of the magazine.

Other voice actors such as Yuma Uchida, Inori Minase, Yui Ogrura, Maria Sashide, Hiro Shimono, Tomohito Takatsuka, and Reiou Tsuchida are also featured in the latest issue of the magazine in addition to some cast members of the new spring anime series such as Ai Fairouz, Aimi, and Tomoyo Kurosawa from Magical Destroyers; Konomi Kohara and Shizuka Ishigami from My Clueless First Friend; and Hibiki Yamamura and Sakura Shinfuku from The Legendary Hero Is Dead.

Seiyuu Grandprix May 2023 Issue will be available to purchase for 1,480 yen (~$11) on April 10, 2023. Special posters from both featured groups on the cover are added as a benefit upon purchasing the magazine from certain retailers. Voice actor Natsuki Hanae and Love Live‘s other idol group Liella appeared on the cover of last month’s issue.
