Call of the Night anime released a lyrical video of the insert song “Loss Time” by Creepy Nuts after the anime’s second episode aired in Japan. The song is newly written by the band behind the opening and ending performer of the Call of the Night anime and it will be available in the next episode, as well as heard in future episodes.
You can check the 1-minute and 45-second long lyrical video of Creepy Nuts’ “Loss Time” on Noitamina’s official YouTube channel below:
Director Tomoyuki Itamura commented on the song and what he wanted to achieve with it:
“First of all, it was the floating feeling. I requested a song that would fit Ko wandering around the city and Nazuna flying in the sky. It’s more of the feeling of floating than the feeling of flying. I was hoping for the song to stand by the boy who feels anxious yet is in high spirits about the night’s bottomlessness and the city’s endlessness.“
The opening and ending performer Creepy Nuts answered the following:
“What part would you recommend to listen to in ‘Loss Time’?“:
“You don’t have to be prepared, and I’d like you to enjoy it if scenery occurs to you from the lyrics and track, and I’m glad if you feel that your body gets good feelings of sounds and you let yourself go to them.“
