Call of the Night Author Kotoyama Is Impressed With Nazuna Nanakusa 1/7 Figure

Call of the Night series released a 1/7 scale figure for Nazuna Nanakusa by KOTOBUKIYA in November 2022 and the manga’s author, Kotoyama, posted a photo of the product on Twitter. The Nazuna figure was created based on the creator’s newly drawn illustration and with his supervision in every step of the way: from the shape to coloring. The merchandise is available at the price of ¥22,000 (≒$164). KOTOBUKIYA’s shops will also feature a special head parts with her long hair untied as a bonus. A gorgeous edition limited to the shops is also available at the price of ¥29,700 (≒$218) and it has an A5 sized chara fine graph art of the original illustration.

The product is 230 mm tall including the stand, the coat Nazuna is wearing and the design of night sky, which gives the feel of her enjoying the sky walk at night.

The Call of the Night manga author Kotoyama’s photo post came with a brief, yet cheerful caption as: “Wooowww.”

Sora Amamiya, known as the voice actress of Aqua in KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! and Chizuru Ichinose in Rent a Girlfriend, voiced Nazuna Nanakusa in the Call of the Night anime adaptation.

Kotoyama has been running the Call of the Night series in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday since August 2019. The series released its thirteenth volume on September 15, 2022 and the next, fourteenth volume’s release date is set for December 16. The manga was named after Creepy Nuts’ song of the same name, “Yofukashi no Uta” in Japanese. The band performed both the opening and ending songs titled “Daten” and “Yofukashi no Uta” respectively in the anime adaptation, which aired from July to September 2022 with a total of 13 episodes animated by LIDENFILMS.
