Call of the Night Theme Song by Creepy Nuts Available to Stream

The first teaser for Call of the Night anime dropped a few days ago and it featured the theme song “Yofukashi no Uta” by Creepy Nuts. The song was released in 2018 and can be found on Spotify.

Creepy Nuts is a hip-hop duo consisting out of rapper R-Shitei and DJ Matsunaga. The duo debuted under Sony Music’s label in 2017. Their comment about the opening song for the Call of the Night is available on the anime’s official website:

There are some people who can’t live until the sun goes down. I am also such person. This manga is like “the night itself” as it neither denies nor affirms the various ways of standing out that are impossible to do under the sun. It makes you not want to end.
I hope we can write such a song too.

Call of the Night anime begins broadcasting in July 2022, on Fuji TV’s Noitamina block. LIDENFILMS (Tokyo Revengers) is animating the series. The anime is based on a romance vampire manga by Kotoyama. The manga started serialization in Weekly Shonen Sunday in 2019, with Viz Media licensing the manga in English.

One night, sleepless Yamori slips out of his home to walk the streets of his town. Life after dark is a revelation! Especially when he meets flirtatious Nanakusa… She’s a lot more fun to share the night with than old drunks on park benches. When she invites him to spend the night at her place in an abandoned building, he’s stoked! But then he awakens to kisses on his neck with a little too much bite to them…
