Call of the Night anime released the jacket illustration for the anime’s second BD and DVD volume which compiles episodes 7 to 13. The product is scheduled to be released on January 25, 2023. The first volume went on sale on Wednesday.
The newly released illustration, drawn by the character designer Haruka Sagawa, shows one of the main characters from the series, Ko Yamori flying in the night sky with a somewhat lost look above the illuminated town. Gen Sato (Fumiya Tomozaki in Bottom–Tier Character Tomozaki) voiced the male character in the anime. The visual is a pair with the jacket illustration of BD and DVD volume 1, which depicts vampire Nazuna Nanakusa.

Kotoyama has been running the Call of the Night series in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday. The series released its thirteenth volume on September 15, 2022. The manga was named after Creepy Nuts’ song of the same name, “Yofukashi no Uta” in Japanese. The band performed both the opening and ending songs titled “Daten” and “Yofukashi no Uta” respectively. The anime aired from July to September 2022 with a total of 13 episodes animated by LIDENFILMS under Tomoyuki Itamura’s direction.
