Child of Kamiari Month Is Now Streaming on Netflix

The 2021 anime film Child of Kamiari Month is now available to stream on Netflix. The film was directed by Riyuta Miyake and animated by Liden Films. Netflix announced that it acquired rights to stream the movie in December 2021.

Child of Kamiari Month was first released in Japan on October 8th, 2021, and was distributed by Creatica Universal. The movie is an original work by Toshinari Shinoe, who also wrote the script. Haruka Sagawa did the character designs, while Jun Ichikawa and NAOKI-T composed the music.

The cast for the film included Aju Makita as Kanna, while Maaya Sakamoto voiced Shiro. Miyu Irino voiced Yasha, while Kanna’s parents, Wataru and Norimasa, were voiced by Kou Shibisaki and Arata Iura respectively. Chafuurin, Riko Nagase, Wataru Takagi and Akira Kamiya are also voicing in the movie.

A year after losing her mother, a young girl learns that she must journey across Japan to the annual gathering of gods in the sacred land of Izumo.
