Chizuru Mizuhara received a character trailer for the upcoming Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 2. Studio TMS Entertainment is animating the series, which is also known as Kanokari. Season 2 is set to premiere on July 1. Sora Amamiya voices Chizuru.

Kazuomi Koga is directing season 2 of Rent-a-Girlfriend anime. Kanna Hirayama is in charge of character designs, while Hyadain is composing the music.
Sumi previously received a character trailer and special visual on March 20, which was also her birthday. TMS Entertainment also animated the first season of the anime adaptation, which had 12 episodes.
The story is based on a manga by Reiji Miyajima. Kodansha publishes the manga in English and describes the plot as:
