The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime by Studio Trigger is now available for streaming on Netflix. The anime was added to the streaming service’s library on September 13. It is composed of one season with ten episodes, each episode having an average of 23 minutes.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi, with Masahiko Otsuka as the assistant director. Yoh Yoshinari and Yuto Kaneko serve as character designers, Akira Yamaoka as the series’ music composer, while Masahiko Otsuka and Yoshiki Usa are responsible for the script. CD Projekt Red is producing the anime.
The anime was first announced in 2020, with its first trailer announced during Netflix Geeked 2022’s event. It received two more trailers in August, the most recent being described as ‘not-safe-for-work’ by Netflix. The first three episodes premiered exclusively on CD Projekt Red’s Twitch channel several hours ago.

The opening theme song is “This Ffire” by the Swedish rock band Franz Ferdinand, and the ending theme song is “Let You Down” by Polish singer-songwriter Dawid Henryk Podsiadło.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is based on the game Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt Red. First announced in May 2012, and was finally released for PlayStation 4, Stadia, Windows, and Xbox One on December 2020, followed by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in February 2022. Netflix describes the show as:
