Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime premiered earlier on Netflix earlier and a music video for its ending theme is now also out. The song is titled “Let You Down” by the Polish singer-songwriter Dawid Podsiadło.
The music video for the ending theme was directed by Russian illustrator Ilya Kuvshinov, who worked on character designs on Ghost in the Shell: SAC 2045 and the 2019 anime film The Wonderland. STUDIO MASSKET produced the music video: anime fans mybe known them for the key animation work in Lycoris Recoil, Blue Reflection Ray, Sasaki and Miyano, and World’s End Harem.
Podsiadło debuted with his album Comfort and Happiness in 2013 following his win at the Polish X Factor in 2012. His other albums include Annoyance and Disappointment (2015) and Małomiasteczkowy (2018).
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners has 10 episodes out on Netflix. Studio Trigger animated the series with Hiroyuki Imaishi as the director and Masahiko Otsuka as the assistant director. Yoh Yoshinari and Yuto Kanekodid the character designs, Akira Yamaoka composed the music, while Masahiko Otsuka and Yoshiki Usa wrote the script. The series’ opening theme is titled “This Ffire” and is performed by Franz Ferdinand.

The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime expands upon the world of CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 universe. Rafał Jaki (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher: Ronin) is the showrunner and executive producer, with Satoru Homma, Bartosz Sztybor, and Saya Elder as producers.
