The Dance Dance Danseur ending theme “Kaze, Hana” by Hitorie will be released as a single on May 25. The song was composed by Hitorie drummer Yumao, while the lyrics were written by vocalist and guitarist Shinoda. Pre-release reservations will be open on April 30.
A credit-less version of the ending sequence from the Dance Dance Danseur anime will be available on the special release of the song, which also includes a Blu-Ray disk. The special edition costs ¥1,800. In addition to that, a regular CD release that costs ¥1,200 is also available. Fans can pre-order the single or the special release duo on Tower Records Japan, Sony Music, and Amazon.
The anime is based on a manga written by George Asakura, which is currently being serialized in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Spirits magazine. Munehisa Sakai is directing the anime adaptation, with Hitomi Hasegawa on character designs. Hajime Otani is credited as a ballet director, while Michiru is composing the music. Studio MAPPA is animating the series.
Junpei Murao, a second-year junior high school student, was fascinated by ballet when he was young but gave up on that dream after his father’s death when he decided to act more “masculine”. One day, his classmate Miyako finds out about Junpei’s interest in ballet and invites him to dance together in her mother’s studio. What appears in front of Junpei in the studio is the ballet genius, Ruo Mori, who currently lives with Miyako’s family. Junpei is overwhelmed with the difference in the ability and things start getting tense. However, Ruo is also oddly inspired by Junpei and new heights appear in front of them…
