Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Movie Reveals Trailer

The upcoming Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction movie revealed a new trailer for the first part, which is set to premiere on March 22 next year. The trailer features the main characters Kadode Koyama and Ouran “Ontan” Nakagawa who are voiced by YOASOBI’s Lilas Ikuta (also known as Ikura) and ano respectively. The film’s second part is set to release on April 19.

Production +h is animating the film with Tomoyuki Kurokawa as director. Reiko Yoshida is writing the scripts, Nobutake Ito is handling the character design and the chief animation director, and Taro Umebayashi is composing the music. The rest of the cast consists of the following:

Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction manga is written by Inio Asano. It was serialized in Shogakukan’s seinen mangaBig Comic Spirits magazine from April 2014 to February 2022. It has a total of 12 volumes. The series was licensed by VIZ Media for North America. Overall, Asano’s manga has over 3mn copies worldwide and is praised for its entertaining plot despite documenting the mundanity of life. The Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction marks Asano’s first work to be turned into anime.
