The upcoming short anime series, “Deji” Meets Girl, unveiled a new promotional video. The show will begin its broadcast on October 1, 2021. LIDEN FILMS is producing the series under the direction of Ushio Tazawa. It was previously announced at the Fantasia International Film Festival 2021.

“Deji” Meets Girl is a short anime that is scheduled to air in October 2021. Each of the 12 episodes will be 90 seconds long.
Maise Higa is a high-school freshman from Okinawa. Maise is spending her summer vacation working in her parents’ hotel when one day a guest from Tokyo arrives. The guest’s name is Ichiro Suzuki and after his arrival, weird things start happening.

Ushio Tazawa will be directing the anime at LIDEN FILMS (Tokyo Revengers). He is also in charge of the character designs, while Akane Marubeni took care of series composition. Moreover, Tazawa worked on movies such as your name., 5 Centimeters per Second, and A Whisker Away.
In addition, the 16-year-old singer, Aoi Kubo, will be performing the theme song “Otogibanashi no Yо̄ na Kiseki” (Fairy Tale-like Miracle).
