Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijo anime has revealed the first trailer, key visual and staff, along with an October premiere date and some additional staff. It was announced on May 14, the day Mother’s Day is celebrated, due to the fact it features a mother-daughter relationship. Studio A-Real is animating, and you can watch the first trailer below:
Aoi Koga and Nana Mizuki are voicing the main duo Alyssa and Viola, respectively. The additional cast includes Takiya Hashi as Phoenix, Romi Park as Lira and Kana Hanazawa as the narrator. Check out the new visual:
The Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijo manga is written and illustrated by Piroya, and it started off as a one-shot on Flex Comix’s Comic Meteor website in July 2018. It has been serialized on the same website since July 2019. The story follows the adventure of a witch named Alyssa, who happens to find a human baby in a forest one day. Despite being confused, she decides to keep the baby and name her Viola. Sixteen years pass and Viola grows into a fine young woman who adores Alyssa as her own mother, even though they are not related by blood.
