Delicious in Dungeon Reveals 2nd Cour Visual, Trailer and Theme Songs, Additional Cast

Delicious in Dungeon (Dungeon Meshi) anime has revealed a new key visual and trailer for the 2nd cour starting next week, as well additional cast members and new theme songs. Studio TRIGGER is animating, and episode 13 is now streaming on Netflix. The anime is set to run for 24 episodes over 2 consecutive cours.

You can watch the new trailer below, which features the new opening theme song by sumika and ending theme song by Regal Lily.

Joining the cast are Yu Kobayashi as Thistle, Arisa Shida as Hien, Yoko Hikasa as Maizuru, Mitsuho Kambe as Izutsumi, Akari Kito as Benichidori and Yoshino Furuya as Inutade. Check out the new visual for the anime:

Ryoko Kui writes and draws the original Delicious in Dungeon manga, which has been serialized in Enterbrain’s Harta magazine since February 2014. Yen Press licensed the manga in English, and they describe the story:
When young adventurer Laios and his company are attacked and soundly thrashed by a dragon deep in a dungeon, the party loses all its money and provisions…and a member! They’re eager to go back and save her, but there is just one problem: If they set out with no food or coin to speak of, they’re sure to starve on the way! But Laios comes up with a brilliant idea: “Let’s eat the monsters!” Slimes, basilisks, and even dragons…none are safe from the appetites of these dungeon-crawling gourmands!
