Demon Slayer season 4 has been officially announced following the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Swordsmith Village Arc (Season 3) finale premiere in Japan. The upcoming season will cover the Hashira Training Arc (volumes 15 and 16 of the manga).
In addition to the announcement trailer, Demon Slayer Season 4 also revealed a series of Hashira visuals:
The anime began its 3rd season on April 9. It aired for a total of 11 episodes, but the first episode was an hour-long special while the final one was 70 minutes long. In addition to the upcoming Hashira Training Arc, the anime still hasn’t covered the Final Battle Arc (Infinity Castle + Final Countdown arcs).
The Hashira Training Arc begins with volume 16 of the manga. VIZ describes the story:
Tanjiro goes to see the Stone Hashira, Himejima, who intends to prepare him for the battles to come. The training to become a Hashira—a high-ranking member of the Demon Slayer Corps—is intense and demanding, and earning Himejima’s approval seems impossible, but Tanjiro won’t give up! Meanwhile, the demon lord Muzan continues to search for the location of Nezuko and Ubuyashiki.
