Disney: Twisted-Wonderland Smartphone Game Gets TV Anime Adaptation

The Disney: Twisted-Wonderland mobile game is officially getting a TV anime adaptation. The game by ANIPLEX and Walt Disney Japan focuses of villains from different Disney worlds, and there are no details regarding the anime yet. They announced it on the official Disney Plus Twitter:

Since March 2020, he mobile game has been available on iOS and Android only in Japan. It features male characters inspired by various villains from the Disney franchises. Yana Toboso, the original creator of the Black Butler manga series, was in charge of the character design, concept, and scenario for the game.

Besides the Twisted Wonderland anime, Disney announced several other shows coming to the platform. They are:

Synopsis:

These young girls’ hearts are pure, and then violent!

Mato Kuroi just got into junior high school, and on the first day, someone catches her eye; her classmate Yomi Takanashi. The two meet. The innocent and naive Mato. The mature Yomi. Seemingly opposites, but the time they spend together only strengthens a growing friendship. Synopsis:

The sequel to The Tatami Galaxy, which Crunchyroll describes:

When a college dropout stops for a late-night bite at a mysterious ramen stand, he crosses paths with a self-proclaimed deity of matrimony. This bizarre meeting sends the young man hurtling through a horrifying flashback to his not-so-glorious college days when the influence of a cruel new friend turned him from a hopeless romantic into a mischievous “black cupid.”


Although the Twisted Wonderland anime adaptation has no release date, the other three will premiere in 2022.
