Elon Musk Boosts Bandai Stocks With A Tweet

On January 13, 2021, Elon Musk tweeted an anime meme. We’ve gotten pretty used to Elon posting memes on his social media so no one thought much of it at first. However, who knew that the picture Elon Musk tweeted would bring up the Bandai stocks by around 4,4%? Well, for sure I wasn’t one of those people.

Let’s start with the tweet first:

Elon Musk’s tweet with the Idolm@ster meme

Idolm@ster fans were probably very delighted that they could see Sachiko Koshimizu, one of the Idolm@ster members, posted by the richest man in the world. I, for one, didn’t know what series the character even came from so I had to do some research. Well, Elon Musk posting an anime meme wouldn’t be worth reporting, but the tweet itself gave a boost to Bandai stocks on the market. As you can see in the picture below they went up by 4,35%!

As you can see, even the slightest things happening in social media might be pretty impactful. It wasn’t the first time that Elon posted an anime meme, and I hope it’s not the last one either.
