Fruits Basket The Final - Episode 11 Preview Images Released

In last week’s episode of Fruits Basket: The Final, Kyo and Yuki finally began to move past their rivalry. The Fruits Basket official Japanese Twitter posted the preview images for Fruits Basket: The Final episode 11 on June 11. Based on the images, it looks like we’ll be getting a pretty interesting episode.

From the looks of things, we’ll be learning more about the original God of the Chinese Zodiac, who’s only been alluded to thus far. Furthermore, this God will be voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya (Attack on Titan, One Piece, Haikyuu!!). Perhaps this means we’ll get to learn more about the origin of the Soma family curse.

Other images suggest we’ll also get some cute Tohru and Kyo moments following last episode’s ending, in which Kyo ran after Tohru. It will be interesting to see how reacts to Kyo’s acceptance of her feelings. Now that Kyo has made a conscious decision to move on from his trauma, maybe we’ll get to see some happier moments between the pair.

It seems like we’ll also be getting some flashbacks to Tohru’s time in the hospital. Knowing Tohru, she’ll have spent the entire time worrying about others. Uotani and Hanajima, as well as Momiji, will also be getting some screentime. Based on the events of last episode hopefully we’ll also get some Yuki and Machi progress.

Fruits Basket: The Final episode 11 will be available to watch on Crunchyroll and Funimation on June 14, 2021. The next episode is ominously titled “Goodbye”. Does this perhaps represent Kyo saying goodbye to his curse? We’ll have to wait until the next episode to find out.
