GKIDS to Screen Goodbye, Don Glees Movie In North America in September

GKIDS has announced that they will screen the Goodbye, Don Glees movie in North America for 3 nights in September. The movie premiered in Japan in January of this year, and it will be available in North American theaters on September 14, 18, and 20 in both the English subbed and dubbed versions. Madhouse is in charge of the production with the team that worked on A Place Further than the Universe, director Ishizuka Atsuko and character designer Yoshimatsu Takahiro. The cast for the movie consists of:

  • Roma – CV: Natsuki Hanae (Japanese), Adam McArthur (English)
  • Toto – CV : Yuuki Kaji (Japanese), Nick Wolfhard (English)
  • Drop – CV: Ayumu Murase (Japanese), Jonathan Leon (English)
  • Tivoli – CV: Kana Hanazawa (Japanese), Victoria Grace (English)

GKIDS describes the story for the Goodbye, Don Glees movie:

Three teen misfits call themselves the “Don Glees.” When the trio gets blamed for a forest fire, they set off into the woods to prove their innocence. Tensions flare as the friends realize that growing up has taken them on wildly different paths in life.
