The upcoming I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too anime will premiere on April 6. The main trailer featuring the opening theme song has been released.
The opening theme song is “Gyakuten Geki” by Tsukuyomi. Additional cast members have been announced as well:
Previously announced cast members include Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Yuya Tenjo, Akari Kito as Kaori Hojo, Kaori Maeda as Lexia von Arcelia, Ayana Taketatsu as Kaede Kazama, Shizuka Ishigami as Yukine Hyodo, Mai Nakahara as Rin Kanzaki, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Ryo Igarashi, Ayumu Murase as Shingo Kurata, and Sayaka Senbongi as Miu Mido.
Studio Millepensee is animating the series, under the chief direction of Shin Itakagi and the direction of Shingo Tanabe. Shin will also work on the series composition. Meanwhile, Hiromi Kimura will serve both as the character designer and chief animation director.
The I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too anime is based on Miku’s light novel of the same name with art by Rein Kuwashima. The light novel originally launched on Kakuyomu online novel service and released the first compiled volume from KADOKAWA’s light novel label Fantasia Bunko in December 2018. The latest, twelfth volume is scheduled to be released on December 20, 2022. The series’ manga adaptation by Kazuomi Minatogawa is currently ongoing in KADOKAWA’s Dengeki Comic Regulus.
Yen Press licensed both the light novel and manga series for English releases and describes the plot of the light novel’s first volume as:
A Chance to Come Back!
