Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague Gets January 2023 Premiere

The anime adaptation of The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague revealed a January 2023 premiere date along with opening theme song performer. Takao Sakuma, who previously sand the opening for Futsal Boys anime where he also voiced Nozomi, will be performing the opening but the title still hasn’t been revealed.

The cast of  anime also includes:

  • Chiaki Kobayashi as Himuro
  • Yui Ishikawa as Fuyutsuki
  • Koki Uchiyama as Seajima
  • Yumi Uchiyama as Komori
  • Ayane Sakura as Otonashi
  • Shugo Nakamura as Katori

Mankyu is directing the series, with Tomoko Konparu on the series composition. Miyako Kano is in charge of character designs. Ruka Kawada is composing the music. Studios ZERO-G and Liber are animating The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague series, which previously announced the 2023 premiere, but without the exact season.

The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague is based on a manga by Miyuki Tonogaya. The 6th volume was published on June 22. Comikey licensed it in English and describes the plot as:

Himuro-kun is a living descendant of the Snow Woman from Japanese folklore. But anytime he’s around his eccentric yet kind colleague, Fuyutsuki-san, he totally freezes up! Despite the snowstorm of love that rages on in his heart, and her complete cluelessness, will he take a step forward or stay frozen in place?
