Insomniacs After School Episode 8 Preview Released

Preview for episode 8 of Insomniacs After School is now out. The episode is set to air on May 29 at 24:00 PM (JST). Studio Liden Films is animating the series, under the direction of Yuki Ikeda.

Before the summer break happens, the student council gives the go-signal for the meteor shower event. With the help of Ukegawa, the adviser Kanikawa and other recruits, the event attracts more than 50 people who are all willing to attend.

While doing stuff together, Ganta Nakami and Ukegawa recall a childhood memory of Nakami being a fast runner as a kid. They also recall that Nakami one day realized that he had slowed down as he already worn out the heels of his shoes…

Rintaro Ikeda is doing the series composition for the anime, Hiroki Fukuda is the character designer, and Yuki Hayashi is composing the music. The cast for the anime includes:

• Sumire Morohoshi as Mina Nono

Insomniacs After School also revealed a special visual in collaboration with the 82nd Nanao Port Festival. This was the same festival that was depicted in episode 7.

HIDIVE is streaming the anime outside of Japan, describing it as:
Ganta Nakami is a high school student who suffers from insomnia. One day, he meets Isaki Magari, a girl with the same condition. A strange, but special relationship forms as they share a secret and catch up on their sleep in their school’s abandoned observatory…
