Kei Sazane's Naze Boku no Sekai wo Daremo Oboeteinai no ka? Series Gets Anime

Naze Boku no Sekai wo Daremo Oboeteinai no ka? light novel series is getting an anime adaptation that will premiere next year, as announced earlier today. The series from the author of Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World, Kei Sazane, began serialization in 2017 and ended in 2020. It was serialized under the MF Bunko J imprint and the announcement came during the annual Summer School Festival event. The teaser visual is out:

Neco was the illustrator for the original novel. A manga adaptation with art by Arikan is still ongoing in Comic Alive magazine. Naze Boku no Sekai wo Daremo Oboeteinai no ka? (Why Does Nobody Remember My World?) follows a boy named Kai, who lives in a world in which five great tribes compete for power. Their fight is one day ended by a human hero Sid, but Kai somehow witnesses an “overwriting” of the world. In the new world, Sid never saved the world and dragons and demons dominate the world. Kai is forgotten until he meets a girl named Rinne and decides to fight. Equipped with powerful weapons and new skills he embarks on a journey…
