KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World Reveals New Trailer and Theme Songs

The upcoming Megumin spin-off series, KonoSuba: An Explosion on this Wonderful World, revealed a new trailer and the opening and ending theme songs on Tuesday. Machico, who sang the opening themes of previous Konosuba titles, is \performing the opening song titled “STAY FREE.” The ending song “JUMP IN” will be sung by the Megumin (voiced by Rie Takahashi) and Yunyun (voiced by Aki Toyosaki). The anime begins on April 5.

The spin-off anime revealed previously revealed a trailer on Megumin’s birthday (December 4). Studio Drive is animating the series while Yujiro Abe is directing. Makoto Uezu is supervising the series composition, Koichi Kikuta is illustrating the character designs and Masato Koda is composing the music.

KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! began its publication in July 2014 is a spin-off of KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! light novel series by Natsume Akatsuki. The original was initially serialized on the Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel service from December 2012 to October 2013. Kadokawa Sneaker Bunkolater acquired the title and published the light novel with art by Kurone Mishima. Yen Press is licensing the spin-off and original in English and they describe the former as:
