The Konyaku Haki sareta Reijo wo Hirotta Ore ga, Ikenai Koto wo Oshiekomu series is getting an anime adaptation, according to the latest issue of PASH Comics magazine.
The novel, the title of which can be translated as the English translation of Leading the Young Lady I Picked Up Astray, Making Her the Happiest Girl in the World!, was first published on the Shousetsuka ni Naro website in 2018 before being published by Shufu to Seikatsusha’s PASH! Books imprint for three volumes, which have been published since March 2020. It received a manga adaptation, with illustrations from Ichiho Katsura, which has been serialized on Shufu to Seikatsusha’s Comic PASH! website. Four volumes have been released, with the fifth one set for September of this year.
The manga artist, Ichicho Katsura, drew a celebratory illustration, while thanking the fans for support:
The novel follows the story of Allen, a misanthropic wizard who lives deep in the forest, and is often called the “Demon King”. He then meets Charlotte, a young noble lady who lost her way. He hears her out and finds out she broke off a forced engagement and escaped her hometown. Allen recalls his past, when he was betrayed by a party he considered friends. He decides to allow Charlotte to live in his mansion and teaches her certain naughty things – like enjoying her life.
