Laid-Back Camp Author Afro's Mono Manga Gets Anime Adaptation

Mono manga by the Laid-Back Camp author Afro is getting an anime adaptation. A teaser visual and video were also revealed along with the main staff information. The story is set around in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and follows the adventures of high school girls from the Cinephoto Club, a combination of cinema and photography.

Mono – Anime Teaser Visual

Aniplex is producing the anime with Ryota Aikei’s (Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 assistant director) direction at studio Soigne. Yoko Yonaiyama (A Sign of Affection) is writing the script and Takuya Miyahara is designing the characters. The voice actors for the anime haven’t been announced yet, but their voices can be heard on the teaser video.

Mono – Anime Teaser Video

The manga was initially serialized in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Miracle! magazine in May 2017. After the final issue of the said magazine was released, the series was then transferred to the Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine in December of the same year. The series currently has 3 volumes available and the 4th volume is slated to be released on April 25.
