NHK released the Log Horizon season 3 opening on the series website. As we already know, the new season of Log Horizon is set to premiere on January 13, 2021.
If you don’t know what Log Horizon is all about, let us give you a summary taken from MAL Rewrite:
[In the blink of an eye, thirty thousand bewildered Japanese gamers are whisked from their everyday lives into the world of the popular MMORPG, Elder Tale, after the game’s latest update—unable to log out. Among them is the socially awkward college student Shiroe, whose confusion and shock lasts only a moment as, a veteran of the game, he immediately sets out to explore the limits of his new reality. Shiroe must learn to live in this new world, leading others and negotiating with the NPC “natives” in order to bring stability to the virtual city of Akihabara. He is joined by his unfortunate friend Naotsugu, having logged in for the first time in years only to find himself trapped, and Akatsuki, a petite but fierce assassin who labels Shiroe as her master. Unfortunately, the Log Horizon season 3 opening is up only on the NHK website so you’ll have to watch it here. NHK states that the opening was released as the second promotional video for the new season. The opening for season 3 is performed by BAND-MAID. It’s been over 5 years since 2nd season of Log Horizon aired so we are extremely excited about season 3 coming! What’s more, 3rd season was already postponed once due to COVID so let’s hope that the adaptation will be fitting. Log Horizon: Destruction of the Round Table will have 12 episodes. In addition, the production will be taken care of by Studio Deen, a studio which was responsible for the 2nd season.
