Love Live Gets New Game Featuring All Groups and Songs

Love Live announced a new game, titled LOVE LIVE! School Idol Festival 2 MIRACLE LIVE, on Sunday at the SIF Series Thanksgiving Festival 2022. A teaser visual and preview were also revealed and the former features one character from each group: Honoka Kosaka (µ’s), Chika Takami (Aqours), Ayumu Uehara (Nijigasaki School Idol Club), and Kanon Shibuya (Liella!). The website describes the upcoming game as an easy-to-play rhythm game.

Every song from the Love Live! series will be playable (solo and remix tracks are excluded) and each of the four groups from the series will have their own story in the game. The series also announced that the game will both have a global and Japanese version.

Alongside the preview and visual, a card illustration was also unveiled. Honoka Kosaka, Kotori Minami, and Umi Sonoda, the second years of the group µ’s, are shown in the card watching the sakura blooms together. The release date of the game is yet to be announced.

Love Live! is a multimedia project created by Hajime Yatate and Sakurako Kimino. It is co-produced by Kadokawa through ASCII Media Works, Bandai Namco Music Live through music label Lantis, and animation studio Bandai Namco Filmworks (formerly known as Sunrise). The project released its first-ever installment in 2010 with Love Live! School Idol Project and currently has four of them with Love Live! Superstar!! the most recent one. The franchise also previously launched a rhythm game Love Live! School Idol Festival in 2013 and Love Live! School Idol Festival ALL STARS in 2019.
